Creighton Shatford is pleased to welcome Parker Byrne as our Associate.

Parker was born and raised in Chance Harbour, Nova Scotia. He received his law degree from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in 2021. During his time in law school, Parker completed an internship with the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission, as well as a pro bono project with the Centre for Law and Democracy.

Prior to law school, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2018 from Mount Allison University, where he majored in philosophy and was the recipient of the Dr. J.E.A. Crake Scholarship in Humanities, and both the Treash and Lisson Memorial Prizes in Philosophy.

As an Associate, Parker takes a practical, conscientious, and personable approach in dealing with all client matters. 

In his spare time, Parker enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active, playing guitar, watching movies and television writing and reading..
